FAT, the better PID controller?
Our first goal was to develop a practical and easy-to-use generation of temperature controllers.
Today, ten years later, our customers appreciate the Winkler FAT controllers, which have perfectly replaced the old PID controller series. A major advantage of FAT is the permanently self-optimizing controller setting without having to determine the mandatory PID parameters. FAT stands for Fast Adaptive Tuning and describes the reliable algorithm – comparable to PID – that works in our controllers.
