Winkler AG’s production site in Tunisia recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. Around 150 employees came together to celebrate this milestone. Board members Andreas Zenner, Markus Medek and Daniel Ernst were on hand to celebrate the impressive development of the site.

In the space of a decade, the site has developed from a small workforce to become Winkler’s main location for the production of flexible electrical trace heating systems. The site benefits considerably from the know-how of the local textile industry, as many products are sewn by hand. “Our employees are at the heart of our success. Their commitment and expertise have made the site an indispensable part of Winkler AG,” emphasized Andreas Zenner in his speech.

A decisive factor for success is the innovative digital engineering process. This enables efficient production and the development of high-quality products that meet the requirements of the global market. The local Design Center plays an important role by providing creative solutions and customized products for Winkler’s customers.

“Without the additional location in Tunisia, we would not have been able to achieve the growth of recent years,” added Markus Medek. “We are proud of our successes and at the same time see many opportunities for the future.”

Winkler is optimistic about the coming years and continues to focus on innovation and the promotion of talent in the region. With a strong team and good cooperation between the German and Tunisian sites, the company is ideally equipped to continue growing in the future.

The celebrations ended with a festive dinner at which the successes of the last ten years were duly celebrated.
