Change of management at Winkler AG: Andreas Zenner hands over the baton to Daniel Ernst

After around 20 years at the helm of Winkler AG, CEO Andreas Zenner has handed over his position to Daniel Ernst and thus arranged his succession on the Management Board at an early stage. With the new structure, the company sees itself as organizationally and strategically stable and well prepared for the coming years.
As part of the handover, Andreas Zenner handed over the baton to his successor Daniel Ernst. The symbolic gesture stands for continuity, trust and a consciously planned generational change in company management.
In his new role as Chief Manufacturing Officer, Andreas Zenner will concentrate fully on the further development of production. His focus will be on expanding the production site in Tunisia, which will play a central role in the company’s future strategy.
“After 20 years with the company, I am delighted to be able to concentrate fully on the task of expanding our production in Tunisia,” says Zenner.
As CEO, Daniel Ernst will assume responsibility for the business in Germany and will drive forward the strategic development of Winkler AG together with the Management Board and Supervisory Board.
“I am delighted about the trust placed in me by my colleagues on the Executive Board and have great respect for the fact that the issue of succession was addressed and driven forward so early on by Mr. Zenner in the interests of the company,” explains Ernst.
With Markus Medek as CFO, the commercial management remains unchanged. Thanks to the clear distribution of responsibilities within the Management Board, the management of Winkler AG is broadly based. The regulated succession ensures that the successful development of the company can be continued in the long term.
