Heated analysis lines for mobile measurements
The challenge
Mobile measurements are always used where the function of a continuous emission or process measurement needs to be checked.
Heated analysis lines are used in extractive gas measurement technology to transport the sample gas from the sampling point to the analyzer.
To prevent condensation of the sample gas and the associated failure of the components to be measured, the temperature of the analysis line must be above the gas dew point at every point along the transport route.
Solution
- A special winding technique of the heating conductor prevents heat loss at the ends of the heated cable
- Molded silicone insulation guarantees temperature maintenance at the interfaces, to the sampling probe, the connection to an inline filter or the coupling area between two sampling lines.
- A compact silicone heating sleeve, self-limiting to 180°C, is available for active heating of the transition areas
- The unique Quick-Lock system offers a secure, quick-release component connection that requires no tools. Continuous heating prevents the temperature from falling below the dew point at the coupling points. Special Quick-Lock adapters ensure the connection to a gas sampling probe, a conditioning system or the direct connection to a heated analyzer. The connection is absolutely gas-tight. The external seal pair is easy to replace
