Winkler AG at the symposium of the Verband Deutscher Glasbläser e.V. in Bad Soden
Bad Soden, September 2025 – This year’s conference of the Association of German Glassblowers (VDG) will take place in Bad Soden from September 18 to 20. The event is regarded as one of the most important meeting places for experts from glassblowing, research and industry.
Winkler AG is represented this year with a specialist lecture:
“Heat in glass – modern heating and control of glass equipment“

The presentation will provide a practical overview of the latest options for heating glass equipment – from classic heating mantles to flexible heating tapes and customized heating sleeves to modern two-sensor control systems. Particular attention will be paid to how glassblowers can expand their products into complete systems by integrating heating technology and control, thereby opening up additional business areas.
“Glass and heat are inseparable in the laboratory. We want to show glassblowers how they can not only support their customers with modern heating solutions, but also benefit economically themselves,” emphasizes Daniel Ernst.
